Cosmetic Nurse for Beaumaris

If you live in Beaumaris and you have been thinking about seeing a cosmetic nurse, our clinic is about ten minutes away. We are on Charman Road in Mentone, an easy run along Balcombe Road, with street parking outside.

I am Megan Deans, a Registered Nurse and the practitioner you will see at Contour Aesthetics. Every appointment starts with a consultation. That is not a formality. It is where we work out what is actually bothering you, whether a cosmetic treatment is a sensible answer to it, and what the alternatives might be. Sometimes the answer is that you do not need anything at all, and I will tell you that.

What Beaumaris clients tend to ask about

Beaumaris is an outdoor suburb. Beach Road, Ricketts Point, the walking tracks, weekend sailing. That lifestyle comes with a lot of accumulated sun exposure, and skin concerns are the most common thing raised with me by clients from this part of the bay. Pigmentation, texture, general skin health, and the question of where to start.

There is also a particular sensibility in Beaumaris. It is a suburb that has looked after its mid century architecture with real care, and the people who live in it tend to bring the same instinct to how they approach cosmetic treatment. Restraint, doing less rather than more, and understanding what something involves before committing to it. That suits how I practise. I would rather talk you through the options properly and have you go away and think about it than book you in on the day.

Skin health and skincare:

Most people arrive wanting a treatment and leave with a skincare plan first, because that is usually the sensible order. We stock medical grade skincare through Facelove Skin, and a consultation covers what your skin is doing, what is realistic to address, and what sequence makes sense. skincare

Polynucleotide skin treatments:

Rejuran is one of the treatments people ask about most often at the moment, usually after reading about it somewhere. A consultation is the right place to understand what is involved, how many sessions are typically discussed, and whether it suits your situation. Find out more on my Rejuran blog post. Or Book a Rejuran Treatment now.

PRP hair restoration:

Hair thinning is something people often sit on for a long time before asking about. PRP uses a sample of your own blood, processed and injected into the scalp. It is worth an appointment to talk through what the process actually involves. Find out more via my PRP Blog. Or book a PRP Hair restoration consultation now.

What if I can't find what I need?

If what you are considering is not listed here, it is still worth booking a consultation. Most of what I do begins with a conversation rather than a treatment.

Getting to us from Beaumaris:

We are at 110 Charman Road, Mentone. From the Concourse, head along Balcombe Road and it is roughly a ten minute drive. Mentone station is close by if you would rather not drive, and there is parking on Charman Road.

Why can't I find prices on your website?

Australian regulations restrict how clinics can advertise prescription-only treatments, including publishing prices for them. It's not about hiding anything.  I'm always upfront about costs at your consultation, before any decision is made. I've written more about this on my blog if you're curious.
