Microneedling

Natural Results, Ethical Care - Mentone

Cosmetic Nurse Megan Deans answering questions about Microneedling at Contour Aesthetics in Mentone

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling uses the DermaPen4 to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. This stimulates the body's natural collagen and elastin production, supporting smoother, firmer skin over time. Optional infusions including exosomes, NCTF135HA, and PPP (Platelet Poor Plasma) can be added to enhance results based on your individual skin concerns.

What can microneedling help with?

  • Fine lines

  • Acne scars

  • Enlarged pores

  • Uneven skin texture

  • Overall skin tone and radiance

What to expect:

Your appointment begins with a consultation to discuss your skin concerns and goals. The DermaPen4 is used to treat the target area, with any chosen infusions applied during the session. Most appointments take around 45–60 minutes. A course of treatments is often recommended for optimal results, with your nurse advising on a plan suited to your skin.
